Aqua America Declares December 2007 Dividend
BRYN MAWR, Pa., Oct 05, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Aqua America, Inc. (NYSE:WTR) today declared a quarterly cash dividend payment of $0.125 per share payable on December 1, 2007, to all shareholders of record as of November 16, 2007.
The December dividend payment of $0.125 per share is nine percent higher than the dividend the company paid in December 2006 of $0.115 per share. Aqua America has paid a dividend for more than 61 years and increased the company dividend 17 times in the last 16 years.
