Aqua North Carolina Appoints New Operations Manager

CARY, N.C., Mar 13, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Aqua North Carolina, Inc. (Aqua) President Tom Roberts announced today the appointment of David Schlobohm as operations manager. Schlobohm is responsible for managing the company's North Carolina operations including operation of 796 water and 60 wastewater facilities including maintenance and construction, and the company's capital program.

Schlobohm came to Aqua from Collier Enterprises Management where he was director of utilities for the company, which manages a broad range of businesses engaged in real estate investment and development. Among his career highlights over the past 20 years, Schlobohm has served as director of utilities for Charlotte County Government in Florida; vice president-Southeast Region for Omega Environmental Services in Lakeland, Florida; and senior vice president/director of operations for ITT Industries-Palm Coast Utility in Palm Coast Florida.

Schlobohm is a professional engineer currently licensed in North Carolina, Georgia and Washington, and is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation (LEED AP) designation from the U.S. Green Building Council/Green Building Certification Institute.
