Natalie Chesko

Natalie Chesko is the President of Aqua New Jersey, which provides water and wastewater service to approximately 185,000 people in 11 counties and cities across New Jersey. Aqua New Jersey is a subsidiary of Essential (NYSE: WTRG), one of the largest publicly traded water, wastewater and natural gas providers in the U.S., serving approximately 5.5 million people across 10 states.

In her role, Chesko leads water and wastewater operations throughout the company’s New Jersey business, including water resources, environmental compliance, safety performance, infrastructure improvement projects and customer growth.

Professional History

Chesko has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and utilities with a strong emphasis on team leadership and customer care. Prior to Aqua New Jersey, Chesko served as the Executive Director of the Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority. She also previously served as Acting Executive Director at the Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority, Authority Engineer at South Monmouth Regional Sewerage Authority, and operated her own engineering design company from home.

Education & Professional Memberships

Chesko earned a B.S. in Bioresource Engineering from Rutgers University. She also served as Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Association of Environmental Authorities (AEA) as well as was a member on their Board of Directors. She is currently active on the AWWA Legislative Committee.
