Aqua America Announces Appointment of William B. Davis as President of Aqua New Jersey
BRYN MAWR, Pa., Mar 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Aqua America, Inc. today announced the appointment of William B. Davis as President of Aqua New Jersey, Inc. (Aqua), an operating subsidiary that provides drinking water and wastewater services to 150,000 residents in 18 municipalities in Warren, Hunterdon, Mercer, Burlington, Monmouth, Ocean, Camden, Gloucester and Sussex counties.
Davis was most recently assistant controller for Aqua and previously consulted with the company on a variety of projects including the installation of a new automated cash management system for Aqua's treasury department. He also played a critical role in the conversion to Aqua's new customer information system. Prior to his involvement with Aqua, Davis was vice president, finance, and controller for American Water's Northeastern Region, which included New Jersey American. He earlier served as a vice president for Envirosource, Inc., a business-to-business environmental service enterprise with 1,800 employees and 60 operations in North America.

Davis holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
